Sunshine Calls
Sunshine calls are short, friendly “phone” visits, generally taking place once a week. They are intended to help maintain a connection to the Jewish community for people who are in circumstances that leave them particularly isolated or lacking their usual social connections. This program seeks to help these individuals make new social connections, reduce loneliness and enhance quality of life, all without leaving the comfort of their home.
