Call For Volunteers:
In response to the recent Covid-19 outbreak, Ten Yad is attempting to adapt to the potential increased need for its services. As such, we are seeking additional volunteers who would be willing to pick up and deliver meals to those facing critical illness. Together we are hoping to limit the spread of the virus while still providing the care we are known for, therefore, all drop offs would be left at the recipient’s door in order to reduce the risks of further transmission. If you are available to pick up and deliver meals and are in a low risk category, please send your name, phone number, availability and neighbourhood to info@tenyad.ca. Volunteers will be risk-assessed prior to delivery requests and guidelines on Public Health Agency of Canada’s website regarding Covid–19 prevention and symptoms will be reviewed.
